District Attorney
Candidate Sam Sutter has begun posting position papers on this
page. His first paper addresses the the issue of gun
violence in Bristol County and how the current District Attorney,
Paul Walsh, has mishandled the prosecution of these cases.
The second paper addresses the unsolved murder rate in our County
and Paul Walsh's inability to solve over 40 murders in New Bedford
alone since he took office in 1991. Future papers will discuss issues such as Paul Walsh's plea bargains
with major drug traffickers, better
protection of seniors in the county, internet safety for our
children and the injustice of the inconsistent sentences of the
current District Attorney. Please check back soon as Sam will be posting other position papers shortly.
